Free way to bring traffic to your business!

On line or off line business needs customers. If you open a shop far from the main street, you'll have to advertise so people know you exist. It's the same for on line, when you start a business will a low budget, you need to advertise a lot because you can't afford to buy Google ads.

Here's some easy way to promote your business for free.

- Create a signature that you'll use with your e-mail, post in a group or any where you can put it. As long as you don't send empty post or e-mail, it will not be seen as spam.

- Comment on blog. Take the time to read and write a comment on blog that are popular. With your comment you can add the link to your business or blog. Write good comment. Try to say something interesting. Fast and easy.

- Posting a video on YouTube. Add your signature in the description of the video. You never know when one of your video could become viral. Better be prepare then sorry. Even if you only get 5 hits per week on your video, it's still 5 peoples that could become customer to your business.

- Social program. Register to all of them. If you can find them. As long as they are free, register and fill your info with links to your business. And try to come back to your account at least once a week.

- A lot of media website offer to leave a comment. Do it and leave your signature at the end.

Take a look at what you do in your free time. Every time you get out of your house, it's an opportunity to promote your business. Ads on your car, t-shirt, bags, baseball cap and everything on which you can put an ads is good. If you're a member of a club, try to sponsor activities so you can promote your business. Always have business cards on you. Have some flyers with you if people want to know more about your business. Be nice and open with people.

Are you?

It's that simple, are you ready to attract it? If you're not set for it, if you haven't prepare for it, then you won't get it.

Abundance comes when there's a place for it.

The work needs to be done in your head. Every morning, start the day with this statement: "I'm open and ready to attract abundance into my life". This will take you 5 seconds. Do this for 27 days and it will become a habits. If you jump a day, start over from day one again. When you reach the habits, keep doing it.

In itself, this affirmation will not bring abundance into your life. But it will help you to do the hard part, being open and ready for it. You get as much as you are.

Copy the picture and print it. Place it in all the places that you will see it. You can print more then one.

Punch advertising...

If you only have 3 seconds to sell your stuff, what would you do?

Me I think that if you use your 3 seconds wisely, you'll get as much result then with an ad of 30 seconds. What you should use is a punch.

Yes, a punch for the viewers. Using words, music, video or pictures. You have to hit them hard so they'll react to your ad.

When you get a reaction from viewers, you are half way to sell them.

Some people will like and others will not. But they'll all remember your ad. Even for those who didn't like your ad, some will buy from you. In the end, you'll sell more.

First, you need to take a look at all the others ads where you want to promote. If you do this right, you'll have a good idea of what's out there. You won't know how many clients those ads are bringing in, but you'll know if those are promoted on and on. When an ad is promoted for a long time, it means that it's bringing a good return. Ads that are not lucrative won't stay active. With those information, you can have an idea of the ads that are working and those that aren't.

Take those working ads and find a way to make them more to the point. Make them more into a punch. When you have found your punch, start to create your own ads. Then promote them at the same place you have studied.

Track your result and push your ads in all the program that are the same as the one you are using now.

Then, start again with a different type of promoting program.

Remember, there's always a way to promote in any program. You just have to take the time to understand them and use them wisely.

We let the government take charge of our life. And this is infesting the life of so many people. When you let your life in the hands of others, you end up believing that your happiness depends on them.

You happiness is all about what you do.

There's no short cut to this. You are in charge of your happiness. If you let someone else taking charge of it, it's a lie that you give yourself. But you cannot lie to yourself. So you end up with a mess up life that isn't what you want at all.

Take the time to stop running around and look at what you want to get from life. If you don't know what you want, then take all the time you need to find it. No TV, no newspaper, no magazine, no radio, no telephone and no chatting. Be totally devoted to find what you really want from life.

When you know what you want, then start to go toward it. Take a small step everyday. Don't give up if things are not as you would want them to be. Keep going on for it. Everyday!!!

Do you know how you're using your time?

This is a very good question. To be successful in your online business, you need to understand where you're spending your time.

One of the best way to know where it goes is to keep a diary of all your use of it. The more specific you can make it, the more you'll understand how you can change some part of it to make more in your day.

Lot's of people end up doing nothing because they keep answering their phone all day. Others are wasting time with useless talking with others. There's a lot of ways to waste your time and do nothing. If you're serious about building an online business, you'll have to see where your time is going.

And while you're noting your time use, why not doing the same with the money you spend. Tracking your spending will help you see where you can cut and save some money that you can invest in your business.

In the end, you'll be the one wining. You'll understand more what you're doing with your time and money. The first two tools you need in building a business.

Giant went down because they didn't understood their markets need. Seth gave a very good example of this in his post.

Do you know your market? Really?

What makes people ticks and buy? Will they buy from you or someone else? If you can't answer those questions, then you don't know your market.

You can have the best product in a field, but if the customer think that it's not needed they'll go for something cheaper.

There's also the need for something to be useful. Let's look at the pocket knife with the most tools on it.

Now, try to put it in your pocket...   This is a joke of $2000 dollars.

There's a lot of examples you can find all around you. Product that has find their way onto the market and aren't selling as the creator would have expected.

Before you start selling something, do your best to understand your market. Find something that is needed and fill that need.

Knowledgeable failure...

Giving good advices is easy. Putting them into action for yourself, that's the hard part.

A lot of good advice people are not putting those advice into action for themselves. Why? Because success is made with action. Most people aren't getting what they want because they're not doing what they should do. It's not because they don't know what to do.

Online, people think that business is easy because the internet is all about connecting with others. But the truth is that it's even more difficult to associate with others. The best way to associate yourself with others has always been to meet and share. After some times, you could start a project and build something with others.

On the internet, you don't meet in person. There's always something between you and the others. And this can let people misleading you from their real intention. In others words, you can get screwed if you trust anyone. You still need to get to know the people you want to associate with. You have to learn who they really are before you give them your trust.

Without trust, you can't associate yourself with someone else. And trust is built with time and action.

I have been in a few team since I started my quest to earn a living from the internet. They all pitched me with the power of team. That in their team I would get more support. That they would help me to build my downline and even more lies that they promise me. None of those team did what they promise me. They all failed to deliver the goods. They took my money and left me out there at the end of a downline with no support.

I'm sorry, but teams are junk. None ever provided half of what they promise.

I would love to associate myself with other motivated business builder on the web. People that I could trust and that I would be proud to associate myself with them.

I still believe that we can build a business on the internet, but I know that it can get really hard to find the right people to associate with. There's so much junk out there.

Consciously working on your unconscious...

The root of all your problems is in your unconscious. To change that you can work on it consciously.

There's no perfect way to do this. You could pay for a professional to help you work on it or you could do this by yourself. Doing it by yourself will take more work and time. But in the end, you'll end up with some great result if you are serious about it.

Let's give you some good way to work on your unconscious.

First, you'll need to understand how much you're complaining. Complain is a destructive energy that will never bring anything good in your life. A good idea to understand how much you're complaining, it to put a bracelet on your wrist. You change the bracelet to your other wrist every time you complain. After a few days, you'll see how much you're complaining. To realize it will help you to stop doing it. A lot of you are thinking that all the bad things happening in your life isn't your fault. That it's OK to complain about it. If you keep this state of mind, you'll never get to anywhere. Keep in mind that complain is a destructive energy. And that bad energy will always be in your life as long as you keep complaining.

Second, start to use positive statement. When anything comes out of your mouth, make it positive. Positive statement will help you to see the good in everything. It will help you build your energy. Life will become better to you. You'll feel better. Negative statement will bring negative energy to you.

Third, bring good teacher into your life. There's a lot of free video on YouTube that you can watch. Do a search with  David Schwartz, Jack Canfield, Marci Shimoff, napoleon hill, Norman Vincent Peale, Joe Vitale and there's a lot more good people out there. Keep yourself into positive energy reading good books, listening to good audio book and joining good conference. Stay away from negative stuff from the TV, newspaper and any art entertainment. This is very conscious. You're making the choice of doing this or not.

The last thing that I would recommend you is to find yourself 3 Guardians. Those guardians will make a pact with you to guard your dream as you will guard theirs. To make it work with your guardians, you need to follow some rules.

-  No judgement. You will never judge when you'll have a talk with your guardian. You'll stay a good observer.
- Truth. You'll tell the truth. Always the truth.
- Focus. You'll keep your guardian focus on their goal as they'll do the same for you. Your guardian will see more easily that you're getting out of your goal.
- Consistent. You should talk to your guardians at least once a week. You could do this everyday, but it would need a lot of time investment.
- Secret. Everything that you'll talk with your guardian will stay between you two. Never talk about it with other people.

What ever you do, if you work on yourself it will change your surrounding. Your life will change. Your unconscious will change.

What can you do with your idle downline?

There's no guaranty that a referral will become active. In fact, most will not do anything after they joined. Why they're joining if it's not to use the program? I can't say much. I think most are doing it on the moment. They get hooked on your ad and joined. Then they just don't want to do anything else.

So, to make money with those spontaneous people, you need to sell them something fast. As the money goes out of their pocket, most will do the same and never come back. A few of them will ask for a refund, but most of them will never bother to do that.

If you want to make money with the idle downline, you need to sell them something as fast as you can.

Some will use the program and earn you even more. Some will come back and try the program to make it work for them. And the rest will never come back.

So, if you promote a free program, you'll need to contact your referral if you have any hope of them becoming active. Sending one e-mail per week could be a good way to let them know that you are there and that you can help them to use the program. Even if it takes months or even years, the result is all that matters. When you get a new active referrals you should celebrate it.

When I write, I always do my best to give the best stuff I can.

I do my best to say what I think is true. I do my best to give all that I can to help others.

I don't have the truth, I don't think that anyone has it. The truth is different for each of us. It's all linked to our perception and our understanding. Each of us will perceive an idea in our own way. This doesn't mean that we're not talking of the same idea. We just understood it differently.

I read a lot and I get most of my subject from reading. I add some of my own experience and put it all into a post. Sometimes I have a lot to say and sometimes a little less.

Opinions are cheap...

Critics can be destructive...

Yes, you can learn from good critic, but you can also sink from a destructive one. Don't ever think that you can get away when you destroy someones else dreams. If you don't want to help someone, don't give them your opinion. It's better to say that you don't know if you can give your opinion on it.

Don't play the know all. You don't know everything. Maybe you just can't see what this project can become. Maybe you just don't have the capacity to dream what this project could become. Anyway, you should never give a bad opinion when you don't have anything to loose from it. This means, that when you get a bad opinion from someone, ask yourself if that person has anything to loose from it. If that person has nothing to loose, don't listen to what they have to say.

Never take an opinion that has nothing to do with your business. You'll waste your time.

I know some people think that it's great to listen to what other has to say about their business. But in reality, if those person are not clients or associate, their opinion isn't worth much. Yes, you could be facing a powerful person with lots of contacts. Just take their opinion and find the best way to use it. But never use them as they are given to you, if that person doesn't have anything to loose by giving it to you.

Opinions are complicated. They can be altered by a lot of things. If you can't find what they can provide your business, put them aside. You'll find later what you could do with them.

When you improve your business, start with the faster ones that will have the lower cost. Then, go with the next one and so one. Never start improvement that will not provide a fast result.

Different?

When it comes to advertising, different is better.

Do something that others don't do. Or do something that others are doing with your own twist. You don't need to invent something, you just need to do it your own way.

Start with you...    What do you like? Make a list of what you like in the ads you saw. Start to choose 3 things that rings with you. Then start to use those with your own twist. Become the best with those. Don't move outside those 3. Stick to it and keep improving.

People will notice your style. Your ads will be known, loved and hated. You can't please everyone. But even the ones how hates your ads, they'll remember who you are.

In the end, what you want is to establish yourself in the market and to be known and respected.

When you get the respect, you'll get the sales. It's all linked. It's that simple.

1. Be where your clients will look for you.
2. Deliver your message concisely and obviously.
3. Give a simple and obvious next step.

To use this, you need to know a little about your market. When you know how your new clients will look for your business, then you make yourself seen as they want. And then you give them the next step as simple as you can. The action button is what most will use on the web.

Using this effectively will bring more customers into your business with less expenses to advertise.

Build your income with $0.00 investment...

PTC is the best business for low budget. Some of them give you the opportunity to use the money you earn clicking on ads and invest it in renting affiliate.

It's the long term stuff. You need a lot of time to make $25 a day. But if you don't have a penny to invest, it can be done with time and energy.

Most PTC will let you rent affiliate from as low as $0.22. It's up to you to start with the lowest pack and grow to get hundreds of affiliates. When you rent affiliate, you have to click on every ads you can get. You have to take a good look at all of them and remove the ones who are not active. Usually, after 10 days if one of your downline hasn't clicked any ads yet, you should trade it. Some PTC offer to trade your downline for free after a fixed amount of days. When too much is seen as spam... 

Are you using "Push Marketing"? If you do, you need to know that Spam is treated like a criminal action in some country and you could get in jail for it. Spam huts us all.

What ever the tools you are using, if you're spamming users, you'll get blocked by them or even get your account suspended. Is it worth it?

The problem in this is the people that are answering the spam. Don't answer the spam.

On Twitter, I unfollow the people who are sending the same stuff over and over.

You can promote your business without spamming. On Twitter, do your best to create new twitter everyday. You can also send more then one Twitter a day, but please try to create new ones.

Become interesting is way better then to just push the same stuff over and over. :)

Energy Vampire...

I'm a big fan of Vampire. I love them in books, movies, tv shows and art. But there's a kind of Vampire that I just can't stand. The time and energy Vampire.

I like to help. I tend to do a lot for others because I think it's good to do good. But, there's this kind of people that are taking and taking. They keep coming for more and more. When you tell them that they should help themselves a little, they reply that you are hard on them. What?

I don't expect anything back from them. What is done, is done. That's it. But when I tell them to put some effort in their success, I would just like them to think about it. I don't want to be told that I'm a bad person or that I'm hard on them.

It's sad, but sometimes you have to cut the link and let those persons work it out on their own.

You can make mistakes. Once, it's because you didn't know. Twice, it's because you didn't really understand what was happening. But when you reach the third time, maybe you should see a psychologist.

Time for success...

There's a lot of good reason to justify doing or not doing the works that need to be done for you business. Most people are using very good reason to justify giving up on their dreams.

The most common reason is: "I don't have the time."

Let's see how much time you have in a week.   168 hours

We'll say that you have a 40 hours a week job (Lunch time included). That would leave   128 hours

An adult over 18 need between 71/2 to 9 hours of sleep. Let's say that you sleep 8 hours a day. That would leave   72 hours

Breakfast and lunch would usually take 30 minutes for each. That would leave   65 hours

Let's give 1 hours a day for hygiene. That would leave   58 hours

This would means that you should have 8 hours a day to do other things then those. If you have children, you can take out most of those 8 hours. But if you don't, what are you doing with those?

Yes, this is a basic demonstration of time planning. If you do this seriously, you'll see that you have a lot of free time that you are wasting. You need to see where you are wasting that time.

Let's face it, most people use that reason to justify their lack of result. But in reality, they have other issues about building a business. Let's see some of those issues.

- Driving goal...
Why do you want to build a business online? If your goal is not good enough for you, you'll have no problem giving up on it. You have to set a goal so dear to you that you'll have trouble giving up on it. Sorry, if you don't have a very good reason to do it, you'll never do it.

- Priority...
There's no way around this. If you keep going with the flow, you'll end up right where you are now. Progress is a result of action that you are taking. You have to choose what you want to do with the free times you have and realize how much time you spend on useless habits.

- Keep your spirit up...
When you're building a business a small amount of free time, you'll end up with low result and negative idea about your business. It's OK, we all come to that point. Keeping your spirit up is a day to day work. You should spend as much time working on your spirit as you work on your business. The higher your spirit will be, the better your work will be. You'll end up taking less time to do as much work.

- Success is contagious...
Hang around positive and successful people. If you don' have any around you, maybe you should change your entourage. Don't do this all at once. Start to join a group of people that are building their business like you on the web. In there, you'll find people that are successful. Among those people, you'll find the ones with who you'll have a good connection. Build on those relation and feed on the positive energy that you'll get to build your business. And you'll end up giving back that positive energy.

Ending this post, I would like to say that we all have the same amount of time when we start the day. The difference between the rich and the poor start with how they're using their free time.

Remember, no one will do it for you. If you're not doing it, you'll never get it.

It's all up to you to choose if you want to do the minimum and make what you can or give it all to make a lot more. There's many ways to make money on the web, and a lot of them are legit way to make money.

Around the web, there's a lot of stuff that are mostly scam or close to it. All those program are telling out that they can make you rich if you join them for a selected price. They tell you that you will not have to do anything and that you'll get rich very fast. But, as soon as you have paid, they give up on you because there's no more empty stuff to sell you. Some will keep on trying to sell you junk as long as you'll keep paying. And when you stop paying, they'll focus on someone else and do the same.

There's no short cut to wealth. If it feels too good to be true, then maybe it is.

I've been talking a lot about this. You need to "Do the Do" if you want to have success in any business.

Now, I would like to talk about the power of justification. Yes, telling yourself that you have good reason to do this or that. Reason why you're not doing what you should do. All of this knowing that you should do it because you really want to build a successful business.

This is so powerful that professional killer of criminal organization don't feel bad killing other criminal. They justify that with the fact that it's a risk of the criminal life. If you're a criminal, you can get killed by other criminal. This is the power of justification.

So, if you think that you'll never find a good reason not to do the work that has to be done, you're wrong. As anyone, you'll find good reason to do it tomorrow instead of today.

Be aware of this and stay focus. When you find a good reason to give up your dream, slap yourself in the face. Is your dream strong enough to stay away from all the good reason to give up on it?

"Making money on the internet"

Even if I'm not rich right now, I know a few things about making it on the web. So I'll share with you, for free, what I've learned over the years.

- It all start with a dream. Yes, you need a reason to do it. You need something that will make you sit in front of your computer even if you don't feel like it. If you don't have a dream, then you'll never get the success you think you can get on the internet.

- The product. You have to find something that you feel good about. Having your own program or becoming an affiliate for something that you like is mostly the same. You need to feel good about what you choose to promote. There's no way for you to make money if you think your product is a piece of junk.

- You'll need to brand yourself with your product. Having a smiling face with a product help to create a friendly contact with your customers. You can still promote without using your name, but your ads will be lost among all the others. With your branding, people will remember you and start to trust you. 

- Advertising. On the internet, it's the wind to your mill. Without advertising, you're just one more product that is lost on the internet. It's like having a barber shop without any window or sign to tell that your are there. On the internet, you need to advertise if you want any results. There's a lot of free way to do so, but free means that you'll have to invest hours upon hours of work to advertise your business. It can be done, but most will invest some money into advertising. I would say that you need $25 of advertising for each $1 you invest into the product.

- Just do it! Keep doing it! This may seems easy, but most will give up before a year. Building a business takes tame and lots of work. You won't become a millionaire over night. It can takes month, even years before you'll see some income from your work. 

- Be there to answer any request from your customers. This is the second part of Branding. Without this, you'll never grow fidelity with your customers.

Build the habit of doing something everyday toward your goal. When you are investing time and energy into your dream, inspiration can come and give you some help. If you're doing nothing and are waiting for inspiration, she might just pass you by.

Moments of creativity are precious. But they never come to people that are not preparing for it.

If you want to write books, then start to write right now. Don't wait for the perfect idea. Don't wait for the perfect moment. Start right now and you'll end up with great stuff.

I live in the hockey country. In that sport, if you want to score a goal you have to shoot toward it. You can't score if you don't shoot. It's the same with your dream. Start right now to take the first step toward it.

Millionaire?

There's an ad that I saw everyday...   I just need to write about it.

In the ad, you have this question: "Millionaire Mindset. Do you have one?"

Well, this is a stupid question. If we would have a Millionaire Mindset, we would not be looking around to make money. The question under the one they put on that promo is: "Would you like to be a Millionaire?". Who would answer no to that question. So it's an empty question.

One more thing that I don't like about that promo, it's the claim under it. They claim that you'll become a Millionaire if you use their system. Yes, there's people making a lot of money in there. But, most won't make anything.

I'm so tired of the empty promises like that. Millionaire are not made by a system, they're people's  accomplishment. You can become a Millionaire using almost anything. It's more about who you are then what you are using.

Whiners....

The whining...

Are you a whiner? Or maybe you have problem with whiner around you?

Whining is an energy drain. No one really want to live around whiner. When it's a customer, it's even difficult. You have to see if this is valuable whining and search why they're whining. Some people are whining because of something that has no relation with the business in which they're whining. Those people can waste a lot of customer support.

You can see a lot of people whining in chat, in forum or in blog. Sorry, but I don't like whiner. I will never waste my time reading someone whining when I see that it has no reason to do it. Usually, within the first fives lines I can see if this is justified.

Here's a book that could be interesting for someone who wants to climb the ladder of big companies. It was written for woman, but I'm sure it can be use by men too. :)

I did a search for tips to face whining, most were about children and some about co-worker. Not much about everyday life.

Make it a great one!

The past is the past.

It's out there, in the past. You can't do nothing about it.

Right now is all you have. And you have a clean slate in front of you. What will you do with it? Leave the past where it is and get your life back on track right now! You can do a lot better.

People that come close to death start to see things in a different way. They understand that you only have "the now". You never know when it will all end. So you should live your life as you want.

Tomorrow doesn't exist. Don't wait for it. Maybe this could be your last day. You never know.

Start to realize how much you set for tomorrow. Things that you could have done today.

Finish the day with the joy of knowing you did good and that you make it worth living it. When you'll get a new day, you'll go on and live it with joy because you know it will be a great one too.


Go for it and make it a great one.
